2% of Ukrainians concerned about Russian language status

Only 2% of Ukrainian citizens are concerned about the status of the Russian language. Kyiv International Institute of Sociology published this data on the official website after the survey.

Therefore, the sociologists emphasize that it became the problem the Ukrainians are less concerned about.

“Among all the issues mentioned in the survey, least of all the Ukrainians are worried about the status of the Russian language in Ukraine (2%) and relations with the European Union (4%),” the research says.

Such problems like the relations between the Ukrainians of different nationalities, the revival of the Ukrainian nation, Crimea’s annexation concern 5-6% of the citizens.

Earlier, 1% of Ukrainians were worried about the status of the Russian language.

It should be noted that this year Ukrainians are mostly concerned about the war in the east of Ukraine, the living standard, the economic situation and security.
