In Kyiv, the number of people infected with coronavirus increased by 59 people. Totally, there are 1,930 infected people in the capital, as 112 Ukraine TV channel reported citing Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.

14 medics are among new cases; one person died. Totally, 38 people deceased since the beginning of the epidemic in Kyiv.

“Thus, 33 women at the age of 27 up to 79 and three-months-old girl are among infected. 22 men at the age of 25 up to 82 and three boys of 10, 11, and 12 years old are infected. 10 patients were hospitalized at the capital’s clinics. Others stay in self-isolation under the control of doctors,” Klitschko said.

As of the morning of May 12, 16,023 cases of coronavirus infection have been officially confirmed in Ukraine. 375 new cases have been observed over the last 24 hours. On May 11, 17 people died from complications caused by COVID-19, and 85 recovered.
