1,065 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 86 patients deceased, and 8,330 recovered. 60,421 tests have been taken.
Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (497), Kyiv (160), Zaporizhia (138), Dnipropetrovsk (128) and Kharkiv (116) regions.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,213,580 people have contracted the disease, 2,088,712 have overcome it, 51,140 - have succumbed to it.
Meanwhile, the United States announced its intention to distribute 80 million doses of coronavirus vaccine to a number of countries by the end of June. The plan for the distribution of the first 25 million doses of vaccines was provided by the press service of the White House.
At least 75 percent of these doses—nearly 19 million—will be shared through COVAX, including approximately 6 million doses for Latin America and the Caribbean, approximately 7 million for South and Southeast Asia, and approximately 5 million for Africa, working in coordination with the African Union and the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention.
