Thus, 182 Kyiv citizens were diagnosed with coronavirus during the past 24 hours. The majority of the cases were observed in Darnytsia district – 39, Desnyansky district – 24, Solomensky, and Obolon districts – 21 cases.
27 people were hospitalized; while others stay in self-isolation under the observance of doctors.
Meanwhile, 3,278 patients (+31 in 24 hours) recovered from coronavirus in Kyiv.
As of August 12, 84,548 Covid-19 cases registered in Ukraine. During the past 24 hours, 1,433 new cases were observed. Totally, 45,686 (+752 in 24 hours) people recovered; another 1,970 (+19 in hours) died from the complications caused by the Covid-19.
On August 1, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers' decree No. 641 "On the introduction of quarantine and enhanced anti-epidemic measures" came into force in Ukraine. The document extends the adaptive quarantine until August 31, 2020. The government specified that, depending on the epidemiological situation, according to the level of the epidemic danger of the spread of Covid-19, all regions are divided into several zones: green, yellow, orange, and red.
