During the past 24 hours, 1,740 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

11 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took the lives of 1,279 Kyiv citizens.

The number of newly infected includes 987 women (18-91 years old), 650 men (18-97), 56 girls (2-17), and 47 boys (1-17).

93 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

Most of the new cases were observed in Desnyansky (303), Solomyansky (229), and Podilsky (110) districts.

As we reported earlier, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 12,978 new cases of Covid-19, including 599 children and 408 healthcare workers. 

1,639 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 120 patients deceased, and 4,243 recovered. 49,180 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (1,740), Odesa (1,280), Dnipropetrovsk (1,164), Zaporizhzhia (854), and Kyiv (782) regions. 

722,679 people have got sick since the pandemic began in Ukraine. 339,378 recovered.
