17,232 people received the first dose of the vaccine against coronavirus in Ukraine on May 17, as Health Minister Maksym Stepanov reported on Facebook.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 948,332 patients received the first dose. Meanwhile, 27,454people finished the immunization (received two doses).

Kyiv – 1,963; Vinnytsia region – 400; Volyn region – 481; Dnipropetrovsk region – 893; Donetsk region – 1,072; Zhytomyr region – 571; Zakarpattia region – 628; Zaporizhia region – 818; Ivano-Frankivsk region – 726; Kyiv region – 582; Kyrovohrad region – 531; Luhansk region – 372; Lviv region – 1,091; Mykolaiv region – 682; Odesa region – 725; Poltava region – 442; Rivne region – 428; Sumy region – 447; Ternopil region – 714; Kharkiv region – 962; Kherson region – 379; Khmelnytsk region – 792; Cherkasy region – 616; Chernivtsi region – 522; Chernihiv region – 415.

The vaccination is held by 266 mobile brigades and 406 vaccination points. As of May 17, 2021, 564, 929people entered the waiting list for vaccination against Covid-19.

As we reported, vaccination centers will be opened in Ukraine for citizens who have signed up for vaccination through the Diia app. The first centers will be opened in cities with a population of millions.
