There were 169 passengers checked in for PS 752 flight from Iran to Kyiv, but two of them did not get aboard. This was announced by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danylov at the briefing, which was broadcasted by 112 Ukraine TV Channel.

"We have lists of all 169 citizens who checked in for this flight. We note that 167 citizens got aboard of flight. Two citizens did not get on a plane departing from Tehran," Danylov said.

It is worth noting that 11 citizens of Ukraine died in the crash of Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines (PS 752 flight). Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko informed about it on his Twitter page.

"We now know the following information about the countries of origin of the PS 752 plane crash victims: Iran - 82; Canada - 63; Ukraine - 2 + 9 (members of crew); Sweden - 10; Afghanistan - 4; Germany - 3; the United Kingdom - 3," the message reads.

As we reported earlier, Boeing 737 of Ukraine's International Airlines, flight PS 752 with 180 passengers aboard crashed in Tehran, not far from Imam Khomeini airport. Iranian Tasnim News Agency informed about that, pointing out that the reason of the crash was a "technical malfunction".

As of 7 a.m. January 8, the fate of passengers remained unknown. Local authorities feared that no one survived, because the plane was visibly on fire as it was falling, CGTN reported.
