1,500 law enforcement officers will guard public order in Kyiv during the Easter holidays. The press service of the National police reported that.
“For two days, divine services in Kyiv will be held in 168 churches. More than 1,500 law enforcement officers, including National Guard members, will serve in the temples - as well as teachers and cadets of the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine,” reads the message.
It is noted that on April 27, the National police staff comes on duty in the area of religious buildings, where services on the occasion of Easter celebration will take place.
On April 21, law enforcement officers received reports about the mining of shopping malls, hotels, airports, shops in many regions of Ukraine.
In Kharkiv, unknown offender allegedly "mined" four hotels in different districts of the city. People were evacuated from the buildings, dog handlers and bomb experts inspected the sites. In addition, police received another report of mining the hotel on Independence Ave, but after an inspection of 2,200 square meters of rooms and 3,000 square meters of the adjacent territory they did not find explosives.
Another case was observed in Kharkiv, where the international airport and two shopping centers were allegedly mined. Policemen found no explosive devices there.
