“The city is constantly trying to control the quality of services that tourists receive in the capital. In particular, a working group has been set up that checks hotel enterprises of the hostel type. Regular raids are carried out on problem hostels according to the approved schedule. Now 105 such rooms have already been checked. And only about a dozen of them regularly pay taxes, tourist tax and comply with sanitary standards," Viktoria Mukha, chairman of the standing committee on cultural issues said this.
According to the report, a number of large-scale tourist-attractive events were held in the capital during the first 9 months. In particular: Moto Open Fest, Kyiv Food & Wine Festival, Courage Bazaar, Atlas Weekend, Kyiv Art week and the like. All of them are in great demand among foreign guests.
As we reported, UN Deputy-Secretary-General Rosemary Dicarlo will visit Ukraine; her visit is scheduled for December 12-13.
