108 fires occurred in dwellings of Ukrainians on November 16. As a result, nine people died, including one child, five people injured.
In the morning on November 16, an incident happened in Vylok urban-type settlement in Zakarpattia region. The rescuers having promptly arrived put out the fire but they found two bodies in one of the rooms. The 46-year-old owner of the house and his friend. The most likely cause of the fire was probably careless use of fire during smoking.
Later the same day, a fire with victims happened in private accommodation in Symynivka village in Mykolaiv region. A disabled girl and her father died there. Yet before the rescuers arrived the father tried to save the girl, he went through smoky premises but didn’t make it.
As it was reported earlier, on October 21, two men and a 13-year-old boy died in a fire in the apartment building in Horenka village, Kyiv region, reports the press office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv region.
One of the victims is the father of the died boy and the owner of the place.
It was established that the fire occurred in a one-story residential building with an attic. The fire was localized at 2:06 a.m. and completely eliminated at 4:15 a.m.
As a result, the fire destroyed an overlap and a crate on the area of 60 square meters, the décor of the building on the area of 60 square meters, and the property inside the building.
