Eight Ukrainians died of coronavirus disease.

According to the Ministry, 17,658 Ukrainians turned to diplomatic institutions within the framework of the ‘Zakhyst’ system, which is provided for Ukrainian citizens who now remain abroad due to travel restrictions.

As we reported before, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba denies reports that his Ministry allegedly banned Ukrainians from traveling abroad for seasonal work.

"The Foreign Ministry has never dealt with the issue of seasonal workers leaving abroad. We do not have this competence. And, accordingly, we could not and did not take any decisions to ban their departure," Kuleba said.

The Foreign Ministry is now collecting requests from states that need seasonal workers from Ukraine, and sending information to the office of the Deputy Prime Minister, who makes a dialogue with these countries and discusses the transfer conditions.
