1,436 cases of side effects after vaccination reported in Ukraine

The reports on the side effects of the vaccines make 1,436 after almost a million injected doses in Ukraine as the State Expert Center of the Health Ministry of Ukraine reported.

The number of cases of unfavorable events after the immunization is less than 1%.

Particularly:

0.22% - after CoviShield vaccine;

0.049% - after CoronaVac vaccine;

0.034% - after Comirnaty (Pfizer/BioNTech) vaccine;

0.083% - after AstraZeneca vaccine.

The Health Ministry noted that the advantage of the vaccines against coronavirus infections continues to outweigh the possible risks.

As we reported, a cargo plane landed at Kyiv international airport, carrying the batch of Pfizer vaccine. It's the first batch procured for the government funds.

On May 25, 16,387 people received their shots against coronavirus. 987,193 people got inoculated in Ukraine since the beginning of the inoculation campaign; 97,391 of them have successfully completed the vaccination course. Two people received one of their doses abroad.
