14,056 people got the vaccination against coronavirus on May 24 in Ukraine as the Health Ministry reported.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 981,972 patients received the first dose. Meanwhile, 86,225 people finished the immunization (received two doses).

As of May 25, 587,732 people are on the waiting list for vaccination.

Earlier, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the majority of Ukrainians should be vaccinated against coronavirus until Independence Day (August 24).

As we reported, 2,608 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Ukraine on May 24. During the past 24 hours, the majority of the confirmed cases were registered in Kyiv city (402), Lviv (214), Zaporizhia (206), Kyiv (170) and Dnipropetrovsk (168) regions.
