14,044 people got vaccinated from coronavirus infection in Ukraine on April 21 as Health Minister Maksym Stepanov reported on Facebook.

491,877 people received a shot since the beginning of the vaccination campaign.

The number of vaccinations in 24 hours in the regions is the next:

Kyiv – 1,329; Vinnytsia region – 540; Volyn region – 571; Dnipropetrovsk region – 691; Donetsk region – 486; Zhytomyr region – 512; Zakarpattia region – 472; Zaporizhia region – 763; Ivano-Frankivsk region – 526; Kyiv region – 449; Kyrovohrad region – 263; Luhansk region – 231; Lviv region – 792; Mykolaiv region – 354; Odesa region – 1,017; Poltava region – 656; Rivne region – 496; Sumy region – 506; Ternopil region – 325; Kharkiv region – 562; Kherson region – 543; Khmelnytsk region – 674; Cherkasy region – 441; Chernivtsi region – 496; Chernihiv region – 349.

The vaccination was held by 264 mobile brigades and 437 vaccination points. As of April 21, 2021, 482,391 people entered the waiting list for vaccination against Covid-19.

On April 21, Ukraine's Healthcare Ministry registered the AstraZeneca vaccine made in South Korea. According to Maksym Stepanov, Ukraine expects 367,000 doses of this particular vaccine to be delivered.
