1,391 new Covid-19 cases observed in Kyiv

In Kyiv, 1,391 people got infected with Covid-19 in 24 hours as Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported.

“The virus in Kyiv as in Ukraine is spreading rapidly. During the past 24 hours, 1,391 new patients. 33 people died. Totally, the coronavirus claimed the lives of 1,080 Kyiv citizens. There are 56,594 confirmed cases of the infection,” Klitschko reported.

Thus, 832 women at the age of 18 up to 91 and 48 girls at the age of a month up to 17; 462 men at the age of 18 up to 87 and 49 boys at the age of two months up to 16 are infected. The record is also observed among medical workers – 64 cases.

84 people were hospitalized; while others stay in self-isolation. 376 people recovered in 24 hours; totally, 20,391 Kyiv citizens overcame the virus.

“The majority of the cases were observed in Darnytsia district – 185, Desnyansky – 184 and Dniprovsky district – 165 cases,” the mayor underlined.

As we reported, another record in coronavirus incidence observed. On November 19, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 14,575 new cases of Covid-19, including 549 children and 613 medics. 1,728 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 229 patients deceased, and 7,845 recovered. 70,752 tests have been taken.
