Ukraine is getting prepared for the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic

During the past 24 hours, 133 new cases of coronavirus infection were observed in the capital of Ukraine, as Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

“133 citizens of the capital were diagnosed with coronavirus during the past 24 hours. Two people died. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 149 Kyiv citizens died,” the message said.

Thus, among the sick are 73 women at the age of 18 up to 72; 53 women at the age of 21 up to 75; five girls at the age of a year up to 14, and two boys aged 3 and 14.

Besides, six medics were infected.

22 patients were hospitalized, while others stay in self-isolation under medical supervision.

As for today, there are 10,002 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Kyiv.

As of August 13, 1,592 new cases of coronavirus infection registered in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the pandemic of Covid-19, 86,140 people got infected; 46,216 patients recovered; 1,992 people died and 37,932 patients are still infected.
