1,325 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 on May 23, in Ukraine as the Health Ministry reported.

Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign, 978,354 patients received the first dose. Meanwhile, 75,787 people finished the immunization (received two doses).

Earlier, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the majority of Ukrainians should be vaccinated against coronavirus until Independence Day (August 24).

As we reported, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 1,334 new cases of Covid-19, including 86 children and 21 healthcare workers. Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (125), Dnipropetrovsk (190), Mykolaiv (151), Kharkiv (101) and Kyiv (75)  regions.
