During the past 24 hours, 130 new cases of coronavirus infection observed in Kyiv. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 12,153 Kyiv citizens were diagnosed with Covid-19, as Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

“130 Kyiv citizens got coronavirus infection during the past 24 hours. Two people died. Totally, the coronavirus took the lives of 172 Kyiv citizens. 27 patients recovered. Totally, 3,853 Kyiv citizens overcame the virus,” the mayor reported.

23 patients were hospitalized; while others stay in self-isolation under the control of the doctors.

In Ukraine, as of the morning of August 25, the number of people infected with Covid-19 increased to 108,415: 1,658 new cases have been reported over the last 24 hours. A total of 2,318 people (+25) died as a result of complications caused by the disease, 52,870 (+346) patients have already recovered.
