1,274 new Covid-19 cases observed in Ukraine

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 1,274 new cases of Covid-19, including 40 children and 53 healthcare workers. Coronavirus_Info Telegram channel reports it.

709 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 69 patients deceased, and 4,905 recovered. 54,821 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city (215), Kharkiv (104), Kyiv (102), Lviv (84) and Donetsk (84) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,222,701 people have contracted the disease, 2,125,685 have overcome it, 51,646 have succumbed to it.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark Mette Frederiksen announced country's readiness to supply 500,000 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to Ukraine. She said this during a telephone conversation with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Denmark is willing to deliver 500,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine to Ukraine" the message says.

What kind of drug Denmark plans to deliver to Ukraine has not been reported.
