12,711 new Covid-19 cases observed in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,017,341 people have contracted the disease

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 12,711 new cases of Covid-19, including 532 children and 230 healthcare workers. Coronavirus_Info Telegram channel reports it.

3,508 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 392 patients deceased, and 13,687 recovered. 92,136 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in in Dnipropetrovsk (1,268), Kyiv city (1,027), Kharkiv (964), Odesa (841) and Kyiv (815) regions.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,017,341 people have contracted the disease, 1,565,954 have overcome it, 42,092 - have succumbed to it.

As we reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers extended the emergency situation and quarantine in Ukraine until June 30.

“The government extends until June 30 the emergency situation. The emergency situation, first of all, concerns the bodies of state authority and their constant readiness to counteract pandemic. Meanwhile, it is one more reminder to all Ukrainians that we should stay cautious and careful. As this affects the health and life of our relatives,” Ukraine’s PM Denys Shmygal reported on Telegram.
