During the past 24 hours, 1,226 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

39 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took the lives of 2,897 Kyiv citizens.

The number of newly infected includes 702 women (18-99 years old), 456 men (19-96), 28 girls (1-17), and 40 boys (1-16).

151 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

Over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 17,424 new cases of Covid-19, including 752 children and 420 healthcare workers. 

4,747 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 290 patients deceased, and 7,124 recovered. 123,500 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Lviv (1,407), Odesa (1,282), Kyiv (1,273) Dnipropetrovsk (1,171) regions and Kyiv city (1,226).

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1,632,131 people have contracted the disease, 1,297,282 have overcome it, 31,751 - have succumbed to it.

Meanwhile, more than half of the regions in Ukraine may be included in the "red" level of epidemic danger from next week. It was announced by Kyiv School of Economics (KSE).
