A study of food, drinking and wastewater is currently underway. Contact persons are also interviewed and examined. Final disinfection is carried out in the outbreak at the place of residence of the sick.
The Center for Public Health notes that acute intestinal infection most often enters the human body with contaminated food or water. The causative agents of infections are found in raw and poorly thermally processed foods of animal origin (meat, eggs, unpasteurized milk, seafood), unwashed fruits and vegetables.
