2,692 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 203 patients deceased and 3,469 recovered. 91,103 tests have been taken.
Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kharkiv (1,159), Lviv (1,102), Dnipropetrovsk (965), Odesa (762) and Zaporizhia (692) regions.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 2,447,222 people have contracted the disease, 2,261,924 have overcome it, 56,649 have succumbed to it.
Meanwhile, the National Police of Ukraine this year opened several dozen criminal cases on the fact of revealing fake Covid passports.
"During 2021, the National Police of Ukraine launched 42 criminal proceedings under Article 358 (forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in which the international vaccination certificates and Covid certificates became the subject of a criminal offense," the message says.
Citizens who were engaged in forging these documents face a fine of up to one thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, arrest for up to 6 months, or restriction of freedom for up to 2 years. And in case of a repetition of the crime, or its group commission by prior agreement, Ukrainians can pay with personal freedom for up to 5 years.
