Over the last 24 hours, 118 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Kyiv. Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said so at the briefing.
"The number of Kyiv residents who appeared to be infected over the last 24 hours increased by 118. One person died", he said.
Among the infected are 52 women aged from 18 to 84, 57 men aged from 18 to 69, seven girls from 1 to 16, and two boys from 9 months to one year.
13 patients were taken to a hospital. The others are on self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.
The largest number of cases is registered in Darnytsia district (27), Desnyansky (16), Solomyansky, Svyatoshynsky and Shevchenkivsky districts (12 each).
7,396 cases of Covid-19 are observed in the Ukrainian capital since the disease reached Ukraine.
As we reported, the Ministry of Health will divide Ukraine into four zones - "red", "orange", "yellow" and "green". This was announced during a government meeting by the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov.
The criteria for such division are the following: bed occupancy rate (not more than 50%), number of tests conducted (not less than 24 tests per 100,000 population), coronavirus detection rate (not more than 11%), and infection growth rate indicator (over 10%).
