We think it is the pressure on the work of the journalists.

We urge the politicians to stop and not to interfere in the work of the independent mass media.

We demand that People’s Front and its leader do not use TV channel 112 Ukraine for the sake of their own PR campaign.

We state that all attempts to restrict the freedom of speech will be properly and legally estimated and the European Parliament will get another evidence of how the biggest and the most popular information TV channel 112 Ukraine sustains the attempts to destroy it.

“The situation when the party, according to the social polls, has almost zero rating and demands the closing of the popular TV channel watched by millions of people raises only most unpleasant associations. If every person involved in the investigative journalism reacted to the facts expressed by the journalists in such a way, there would be no independent mass media in Ukraine. The words of Maksym Burbak are another provocative statement made for his own PR purpose. To urge for the closing of the TV channel due to the truthful investigations of the journalists is absurdly as well as the urge to close the party People’s Front; however, the majority of the voters think that its leaders do not fulfill their campaign promises,” said General producer of 112 Ukraine TV channel Artem Marchevsky

112 Ukraine is an informational and analytical TV channel which broadcasts 18,5 hours per day on air and uses modern technologies to be the first channel to provide the unbiased information on important and interesting events going on in Ukraine and in the world. This is mentioned in the respective statement by Artem Marchevskyi, the Chief Producer, and Yehor Benkendorf, Director General of 112 Ukraine.
