112-TV LLC Broadcasting Company addresses with the information on the planned actions aimed at violating public security, the rights and freedoms of citizens, preventing journalistic activities, as well as actions aimed at undermining the basis of the information security of Ukraine.
On July 12, 2019 a publication that contains appeals regarding the allegedly unauthorized protest near the building of the 112 Ukraine TV channel (112-TV LLC Broadcasting Company), was posted in open source and on the Facebook page of Serhiy Sternenko, the head of the Nebaiduzhi (the Indifferent, - translation from Ukrainian) non-governmental far-right public organization (https://www.facebook.com/sternenko).
The mentioned publication contains direct calls to citizens to come to the building of the 112 Ukraine TV channel and to block its activity at every possible way.
We do not exclude that active actions may be taken to block the access of journalists to their working places, to damage to the property of the TV channel and building, the threat of violent actions against journalists will be committed, etc.
Further, this can lead to irreparable consequences – it may undermine the basics of the information security of Ukraine, because the aggressor country mass media may taken advantage of such informational events.
In view of the aforesaid, we demand that the criminal actions against the property of the TV channel be disallowed and to ensure security and public order, including by preventing possible illegal actions against the 112 Ukraine TV channel and its employees on July 13, 2019 at the following address: 21G Dehtiarivska street. Kyiv.
