2,798 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 442 patients deceased and 11,219 recovered. 50,591 tests have been taken.
Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Dnipropetrovsk (987), Odessa (901), Mykolaiv (844) and Kharkiv (829) regions.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 3,228,441 people have contracted the disease, 2,642,459 have overcome it, 77,147 have succumbed to it.
Meanwhile, the situation with the coronavirus is deteriorating in Vinnytsia region - it is already on the verge of entering the "red" zone.
So, according to the Ministry of Health, in the "orange" Vinnytsia region, for three days in a row, the detection rates of new Covid cases and the level of hospitalizations per 100 thousand people have been exceeded. According to the current rules, exceeding two indicators means the transition of the region to the "red" zone.
Currently, Kyiv and 17 regions of Ukraine are already in the "red" zone: Volyn, Zaporizhia, Odesa, Donetsk, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Luhansk, Lviv, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions.
