In 24 hours, 12,524 new coronavirus cases were registered in Ukraine

During the past 24 hours, 1,053 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

12 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took the lives of 950 Kyiv citizens. 

The number of newly infected includes 604 women (18-86 years old), 376 men (18-89), 36 girls (1-17), and 37 boys (1-17).

39 medics are among those who got infected over the last 24 hours.

73 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

Most of the new cases were observed in Podilsky (170), Desnyansky (133) districts and 133 cases - in Dniprovsky.

As we reported earlier, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian Healthcare Ministry reported 12,524 new cases of coronavirus. 

525,176 cases have been resgistered since the pandemic reached Ukraine. 238,811 people recovered from the disease (+4,962 per 24 hours). 9,508 people deceased (+191 per 24 hours).

Most of the cases over day were observed in Kyiv (1,053), Zaporizhya region (805), Odesa region (758), Kharkiv region (749) and Kyiv region (698).
