During the past 24 hours, 1,049 new Covid-19 cases were observed in Kyiv, as Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram.

24 patients died. Totally, Covid-19 took the lives of 2,881 Kyiv citizens.

The number of newly infected includes 599 women (18-86 years old), 385 men (18-90), 34 girls (2-17), and 31 boys (1-17).

114 patients were taken to the hospital. The others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors.

As we reported earlier, over the last 24 hours, Ukrainian doctors confirmed 13,276 new cases of Covid-19, including 710 children and 382 healthcare workers. Coronavirus_Info Telegram channel reports it.

3,967 people have been taken to hospitals during this period; 243 patients deceased, and 4,897 recovered. 99,270 tests have been taken.

Most of the confirmed cases have been observed in Kyiv city(1049), Zhytomyr (971), Vinnytsia (933), Kyiv (913), Lviv (879) and Kharkiv (837) regions. 

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1,451,744 people have contracted the disease, 1,219,773 have overcome it, 28,158 - have succumbed to it.
