1,000 law enforcers keep order in Kyiv during Christmas

About 1,000 law enforcers keep order in Kyiv on Christmas as the press service of the National Police reported.

“Due to the holding of the events with the mass participation of the citizens, about 1,000 law enforcers are serving in the enhanced regime,” the message said.

The law enforcers urge the organizers and partakers of the mass events not to violate the law and order, observe the norms of the acting legislation and be intelligent about the work of the police officers.

Earlier it was reported that the Christmas night in Ukraine took place without serious offences. About 15,500 law enforcers kept order.

Today, on January 7, the Christians of the Eastern Orthodoxy celebrate Christmas. Traditionally, the celebration begins on the eve and continues the next day.
