At a rough estimate 10% of private PCs, governmental and corporate computers suffered from the cyber attack on June 27. Dmytro Shymkiv, the deputy head of the Ukraine’s President’s Administration, Voice of America reported.
Shymkiv said that these data are a rough estimate and do not include some categories of the computers in commercial organizations. According to him, a half of the governmental and commercial computers are completely out of order. Shymkiv also added that the important infrastructure companies were infected, but mostly private business suffered.
As we reported earlier, a large-scale cyber attack hit dozens of companies and enterprises across Ukraine today, on June 27.
The cyber attack started at around 11:30 a.m. this morning. The virus is spreading very quickly. It affects computers operating on Windows OS. It restarts and codes itself.
