Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba came up with a sharp reply to the statement of Dmitriy Peskov, Russian presidential press secretary; earlier, Peskov claimed that Ukraine's NATO entry would be "the worst possible scenario".

Kuleba left the post on Twitter.

"The worst scenario already happened: the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine, our lands are occupied, and our citizens are killed. This is why we don't care about Russia's opinion about the entry of Ukraine in the NATO. Russia has no voting right in the discussion about Ukraine's further membership in the Alliance", Kuleba wrote.

Meanwhile, Moscow considers closing its mission in the NATO, as the Alliance dedided to cut the size of the staff that works there.

According to Kommersant, which cites its sources, "respective measures are now being approved on the inter-agency level. However, they will certainly concern the Military Mission for Connection of the NATO in Moscow", reads the message.

It's still not clear whether the restrictions would concern the NATO Information Bureau in Moscow.
