Heather Nauert, the U.S. State Department official representative, called Europe for giving more support to Ukraine and for introducing anti-Russian sanctions in full, as she said at the briefing.

“We would like the European allies to support Ukraine. The U.S. took a strong position on supporting Ukraine, we would like the other countries to do the same,” she said.

Nauert also stated that it is Washington’s interest to “encourage the states to support each other, so that not only the U.S. are carrying the burden, are not dealing with this alone”.

“Many of the European countries imposed anti-Russian sanctions due to Crimea and Ukraine. As the experts told me, not all the sanction were imposed in full,” she said.
