Nikki Haley, United States Ambassador to the United Nations, stated that the UN Security Council would have a meeting on Friday due to the situation in Idlib, as Reuters reports.

“This is a tragic situation, and if they want to continue to go the route of taking over Syria, they can do that,” Haley said at the press-conference referring to the Government of the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and his allies in Russia and Iran.
