Russian court continued the detention of Ukrainian reporter Roman Sushchenko until September 30. According to lawyer Mark Feygin, Sushchenko was only allowed three phone calls so that he could talk to his family.
The Ukrainian reporter was detained in Moscow in September 2016, as he visited the Russian capital for business. Russian FSB, the state security service charges Sushchenko with espionage, saying he allegedly worked for Ukraine’s defense ministry. The Ukrainian military intelligence denied that.
