Spokesperson of the Russian President Dmitriy Peskov stated that Ukraine is an ‘explosion-hazard region’ and supposedly due to this fact, the concentration of the Russian troops is observed near the Ukrainian border as RIA-News reported.
According to Peskov, Russia assumes measures to provide its own security.
“It is clear that now, unfortunately, Ukraine again turns into the potentially very unstable region. Of course, any country that has the unstable, explosion-hazard region near its border, of course, the country assumes necessary measures to provide its own security,” he said.
As we reported, Deputy Head of the President's Office Ihor Zhovkva stated that Ukraine should expect new military escalation.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin stated that the intensification of hostilities in the Donbas will be the beginning of the end of Ukraine.
Besides, the United States has been looking into the option to send the battleships to the Black Sea over the next few weeks, as the tension between Ukraine and Russia grows.
