Kremlin called the striving of Ukraine to join NATO  to be the threat of security of Russia. Dmitriy Peskov, the speaker of the President of Russia claimed this to the journalists. UNIAN reported this.

'Moscow traditionally treats the NATO expansion aside to our borders with non-confidence and preoccupation. We think that it threats our security and force balance in the Eurasian region. Of course the Russian side uses the necessary arrangements to protect its interests and security', Peskov claimed.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed the bill #6470 of changing some of the legislative acts of Ukraine on foreign policy course. 276 MPs supported this decision.

Pavlo Klimkin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine noted that he expects that the expanded partnership of Ukraine and NATO will lead to the membership in the Alliance.
