The officers of the Central Administration of the counter-intelligence protection of the state’s interests in the economic security sphere of SBU along with the military prosecutor’s office detained one of the organizers of supply channels to transfer goods of designed for warfare to Russia, as SBU press office reports.
Earlier in 2018, the operatives of the special service defined that the traffickers' group transferred components which are used to produce weapons and radar defense systems to Russia.
“Under the order of FSB officers, the culprits passed the materials through the couriers, in particular, the components for missiles, communications system, navigation and rocket-guiding devices,” the message says.
During the searches at the working and residence places of the defendants in the case in several Ukraine’s regions, the law enforcers found financial and economic documentation, agreements, bank notes, secret ledgers, seals and e-correspondence with the clients from Russia. SBU officers also seized radio parts, transistors, microchips, resistors, relays, condensers, indicators, stratameters weighing more than five toms and four special complex “Topaz-200”.
“According to the operatives, one of the defendants tries to resume the supplies to Russia. One of the orginizers is detained, he will be in custody, another one – declared wanted,” SBU informs.
Reportedly, SBU found a stash with rocket-propelled grenade launchers and AK-47.
