The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation is outraged at the US sanctions imposed on individuals and companies on September 30 and promises to respond to them in Washington. It is reported by the press service of the Russian diplomatic department.

"We are utterly surprised at the new batch of anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the US Administration on September 30 ... As it was before, the anti-Russian massacre will not be left unanswered", - Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.

Russian diplomats say that sanctions were imposed on Russians, a citizen of Taiwan, commercial organizations registered in Seychelles, the Czech Republic, and several other countries, some aircraft, and seacraft.

However, Sergey Lavrov's office urged American politicians not to introduce more restrictive measures against Russia, calling them "meaningless sanctions games". Representatives of Russian diplomacy are convinced that the result of such actions against Russia is equal to "zero".

As we reported earlier, the United States has imposed sanctions on four companies and seven individuals associated with Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, through interference in the 2018 US midterm elections. The sanctions are also applied to three private jets and a Prigozhin’s yacht. These objects are prohibited from crossing the US border.
