Representatives of the Russian Fund of Direct Investments and Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology approved the passage of the technology of Sputnik-V vaccine production to Ukraine. Viktor Medvedchuk, the MP and the Chairman of Political Board of Opposition Platform - For Life party said so as quoted by MigNews.

"Production of Sputnik V vaccine from coronavirus in Ukraine. It's a very important and hallmark event for Ukraine. And, like I said, as I asked President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, he charged everyone to work on this issue and report the opportunities of vaccine production in Ukraine", he said.

Medvedchuk added that the Russian side agreed to pass to Ukraine both the technologies and raw materials such as a cell line, which is used to produce Sputnik-V.
