Russia’s Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova canceled the meeting with her Ukrainian colleague Lyudmyla Denisova by SMS. They had to discuss the exchange of the Ukrainian POWs in particular. Moskalkova heads to Uzbekistan tomorrow, as Denisova reported on Facebook.
“Russia’s Security Service Investigation Department demands court to hold a session on the extension of sentence for the Ukrainian sailors in camera. What for if there is nothing to hide? I don’t understand. But now it’s clear why meeting with Moskalkova was canceled. Russian Ombudsman sent me an SMS informing she has to leave for urgent business trip and she will be back late in the evening. And tomorrow Tatyana Moskalkova heads to Uzbekistan,” Denisova wrote.
According to Ukraine’s Ombudsman, previous agreements concerning confidential discussion of crucial issues do not mean anything for her Russian colleague.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine’s Ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova arrived in Moscow where she will try to get to the session of Lefortovo court on the case of Ukrainian POWs.
Russian Security Service appealed to court with a non-procedural request to carry out a session in Lefortovo court on the extension of sentence term for the Ukrainian POWs in camera.
