The aircraft of Russian armed forces crashed in Yakutia, northern Russia, on early Monday. Il-18 passenger plane carried 39 people, most of them military men; all survived, eight people were injured, TASS reports.

The aircraft departed from Koltsovo airport in Yekaterinburg and crashed 27 kilometers away from Tiksi town, Yakutia. 32 passengers and seven crew members were aboard; they were evacuated. The investigation into the incident is underway.
