Long-distance passenger trains coming from Russia will be from now on bypassing the territory of Ukraine; RIA Novosti news agency reported that on Monday.

Since December 11, the trains have switched to Zhuravka-Millerovo railway, which connects Rostov and Kaliningrad oblasts, completely bypassing Ukraine. This railway was built in 2014-2017, with regular staging launched in September 2017.
