Russian FSB carries out searches of Crimean Tatars, February, 14, 2019

Russian Security Service searched houses of the Crimean Tatars in occupied Oktiabrske, as Crimean solidarity reported on Facebook.

“The houses of Reshat Emiruseinov and his son Rustem, Arsen Abkhairov, Izzet Abdulhanyev and his son Eskender were searched,” the message says.

Mother of Arsen Abkhairov did not feel well, an ambulance was called.

Eskender Abdulhanyev and Arsen Abkhairov were taken to Russian Security Service department in Simferopol.

Reshat Emiruseinov is an active participant of the Crimean Tatar movement. In August 2017, he held a one-person protest in support of Server Karametov. He had a poster with a sign “Putin, our kids are not terrorists, not extremists”. Later, he started attending meetings of Crimean solidarity organization, where he manifested his position of disagreement with pressure upon the Crimean Tatars in Crimea.
