The Russian Federation intends to develop the renewed theory of warfare as Interfax reported citing Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.

“Today the main task is the development of the theory of warfare for the medium term,” Shoigu said.

He stated that modern wars need new approaches and it is important to understand it.

“The conflicts of the new generation are the set of the classic and asymmetric means of the warfare, where the combat actions are fleeting and there is no time to correct the mistakes,” Shoigu emphasized.
