The Russian ambassador to Turkey, Andrei Karlov, was shot in the armed attack in Ankara. It was reported by "Ria News". The source told Karlov had died at the scene.


According to the information, the incident occurred at the opening of the photo exhibition.

As witness of the incident informed, the ambassador was speaking at the opening ceremony, when someone behind him shouted "Allahu akbar!" and started shooting.
