The government of the occupational forces of Crimea set restrictions on the speed of trains along the Kerch Bridge - no more than 20 km / h, as the Krym.Realii reported.

Deputy Head of the government Mykhaylo Seleznev explained that this was decided in order to "create competition" for air carriers.

“This will be a serious competition for air carriers because many people will not miss the opportunity to get to the Crimea by train,” Seleznev stated. According to the report, the tourists will opt for rail transport in order to enjoy the view of the Kerch Strait.

Russia intends to open the railway on the Kerch Bridge in August-September 2019.  The railroad has not been finished yet on the bridge.
