The Central Elections Commission of Russia does not send the invitation for the presidential election that will take place in 2018 to the Central Elections Commission of Ukraine. Ella Pamfilova, the Head of the Russian Central Elections Commission claimed this as RIA News reported.

‘As you understand it would be a cunning thing. It is absolutely senseless to send an invitation for the election to Ukraine. It is unreal’, Pamfilova said.

‘In this case, I do not want either to dissemble or express some unreal possibilities. The relations between countries in this situation do not allow us to exchange the observers’, she noted.

The presidential elections in Russia are planned for March 18, 2018. Twenty-three candidates are announced on the plans to run for the presidency. Putin also claimed his nomination.
