In 2017, Russian military leadership plans to deploy two new radar stations, near the Baltic and the Black seas. Interfax reported this on July 6. The Sunflower radars will be able to spot any Navy vessel that crosses the Bosporus, a source told the outlet.

The deployment of the two new radar stations in these areas should compensate the growth of NATO military action, the interlocutor said.
