'In spite of our multiple demands to stop the systematic use of force against the reporters working for Russian information agencies, the Ukrainian side breaches its international commitments and the internal law, offending the freedom of speech, interfering with journalist activity and the public expression of views, oppressing correspondents,' the message says.
The Russian side urged the Ukrainian authorities to refrain from any further steps that could worsen the relations between the countries and get in the way of restoring the constructive dialogue.
As it was reported earlier, the officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has exposed the network of the media entities controlled by the Russian Federation. The law enforcement bodies hold the investigative actions at the office of RIA News-Ukraine.
At the same time, RIA News reported the SBU searches at the RIA News-Ukraine office in the downtown of Kyiv.
